Drawing from the time honored traditions of Ayurveda and African Shamanic healing, everything created in the apothecary is all natural (we use certified organic ingredients when possible and never use chemicals and additives), hand made, and blessed with Reiki healing energy.

Our Ingredients:

Shea butter comes from the nuts of the Shea Nut Tree (Mangifolia) endemic to the savannahs of Central and West Africa. Noted for it’s healing properties, shea butter has been used for centuries in Africa. The rich creamy butter has a multitude of uses that has led to its emerging popularity in the West. Shea butter is one of nature’s most effective moisturizes due to its fatty acids and high content of vitamins A and E.
-Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties
-Protects skin from environmental and free-radical damage
- Contains cinnamic acid resulting in a natural sunscreen agent (approx spf 6)
-Heals blemishes, itching, sunburns, eczema and wrinkles

Olive oil is the purest fat available. Extra-virgin olive oil is the best quality olive oil as it comes from the very first pressing of the olives. Delicate, moisturizing and easily absorbed into the skin, olive oil was meant to anoint the body.

Lavender essential oil is extracted directly from the fresh flowers of the lavender plant. Lavender has a rich floral scent that has been savored for centuries. Lavender is by nature, anti-fungal, anti-septic, anti-depressant, calming, deodorizing, rejuvenating, immune system enhancing, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.

Our Products:

Lavender Body Oil
Enjoy this light fragrant moisturizing oil. Perfect after a long hot shower or during a massage. Organic extra-virgin olive oil is infused with lavender flowers and pure essential oil of lavender. Therapeutic, aromatic and calming, the lavender body oil provides balance and peace. This product can be used daily in place of a lotion.

Vata Butter
Savor in this thick moisturizing aromatic blend designed especially to balance Vata constitutions. Creamy shea butter is blended with Jojoba, bergamot, geranium and lavender. This product can be used daily as a lotion.

Pitta Butter
Relish in this cooling velvety butter designed especially to balance Pitta constitutions. Creamy shea butter is blended with turmeric, coconut oil, jojoba, bergamot, geranium, lavender, jasmine and vanilla. This product can be used daily as a lotion.

Kapha Butter
Liberate yourself in this invigorating and spicy blend of shea butter, jojoba, cinnamon, lavender, ylang-ylang, ginger and jasmine. This product can be used daily as a lotion.
